Haiku

I got nothing........but love, baby.

First off......... want to say hope you lonely fuckers that are reading this watched Urijah show his dominance. I know he walked into one when he lost his title. But watch this.....
Dude, if he doesn't regain his title by July 2009 I will be shocked.
Other stuff going on......C's kicking ass. 10 game winning streak tonight. I'm pretty stoked on KG and The Truth heading to the All Star Shit..............but I really think it should be Ray Allen and Rondo. I mean, c'mon.....................
V-Tek resigns finally.
To me, no doubter.
for both sides.
but.........
I mean, c'mon, what else did you have.................I like you, but please just start swinging from the right side, because your not a switch hitter anymore........you tell us you are,...but....you aren't..............please. just don't.
Somewhere.....Tom F Brady is throwing a foot ball.........tear, my eye.

Too much beer, not enough hot stove.

First of all, how about the dirty ass beat down the C's delivered to the Suns yesterday. Holy shit! Everyone looked strong, so strong that by the 4th quarter I don't think I knew any of the 5 players on the court. Geez. Seems like that little losing streak is behind us once and for all, that was weird.

As for the Sox, so we got Smoltz, Penny, Japanese guys, and Baldy. Well, I'm liking what Theo is doing, but there are a lot of question marks with these guys. Kinda reminds me of Colon, Piniero, Gagne.......the potential is there, but you just don't know. I think Smoltz will be the best out of all of these guys. Our pen should be good this year.

Cards/Steelers. Steelers should kick some ass. Let me just say Cards 7 Pats 47........pisses me off.

Urijah Faber will be fighting Jens Pulver for the second time this Sunday. It's on VS. Check it out. Should be good.

Trades

Well, I'm not sure about the Rocco signing. I guess he'll be a good 4th guy in the outfield, but, there is so many health issues. I gotta admit, he's got a cool name, Rocco. The name makes him sound tough. At least we have filled one more hole that was needing some serious filling. I just don't know over the full season that I'll be like, "Bring in fucking Rocco", I don't think he'll be that good, I hope I'm wrong.

The other signing I heard about is Smoltz. Now, he's coming off a big shoulder surgery and sounds like he won't be ready for opening day. But, shit...the guy has been good for a long time, he knows how to pitch. And the beauty is he's started and closed. I can almost imagine him coming in out of the bullpen...........options baby.

Now, somewhere in Boston, the C's forgot how to win........WTF?

We turned into pickle puffers.

I was thinking back to this legendary day, I was thinking of Pedro pointing to his head and telling Posada, "I'm gonna drill you right in the fucking head", I was thinking about the V-Tek/A-Rod "glove to the fucking face". Well, in general I was thinking about how much these clubs hated each other. You could tell there was some pissed off dudes.

But, nowadays.........it's a little different. I get the feel that these guys now want to hang out and practice together. There is no pissed of dudes anymore. It's just another game. I have to admit, Tampa pisses the Sox off, and I do believe that's the best rivalry going. Which is good. But, I want to see Youk bitchslap Jeter as he runs up the baseline. I want to see Pedroia rip his shirt off and call out the Yankee bench to fight him by himself. I want to see Paplebon strike out Texeireira to clinch the division then run up to him and pee on his shoes. This team needs to get pissed.

Come on Sox, get pissed, show us you want to win. (and while your at it, give A-Rod a bitch slap)

I'm Sad

I just want to say, it's the end of the year, New Year's Eve........I should be happy, excited. But, you know, I'm not.

The Pats are done, what do people do on Sundays in January?

The Celtics had the perfect season rolling along, now they lose 3 games in one road trip? (Granted Portland had an extra guy on the court to help 'em win)

The Sox.............well, they ain't done shit. While we have TB as a strong force in the division and the Skankees going fucking ape shit in the off season........That bums me out.

A lil' tear is rolling down my cheek. I'm getting drunk.

Sox are Bard up for catching.

Theo.....usually, I can follow you. I can agree with you.....I can even drink my beer and smile as I think of the deals rolling around inside of your head.
But, this one...I don't get.
Ok, ok.....Bard had a couple of good offensive years when we ditched his ass, last year he hit .200ish. He'll probably be fine with the the bat, I'm cool with that.
What I don't get is this. We get rid of 'Belli because we have Bard..........Bard can't catch the knuckleball. Now, understand, this was his one and only job......and he (I'll repeat here) COULDN'T CATCH THE FUCKING KNUCKLEBALL!!!
So, what did we do, we trade Bard to get 'Belli back.....right? Ok, great....'Belli catches Wake just great, but now a catch.........'Belli is no longer.
So, we had this guy Kevin Cash. This guy did a really freaking good job catching the Wakester. I was impressed. His bat was similar to the 'Belli, but......you know what, his only job was to catch the fucking knuckleball.
So, a funny thing happens this year. (Theo, here's where I'm confused) We don't resign Cash, nope, in fact......WE LET THE FUCKING YANKEES SIGN HIM, THOSE FUCKWADS.
So, no 'Belli, no Cash, no one to catch the difficult knuckler. Right, Wrong. We resign Bard.
Now, I'm assuming he's not going to be our everyday catcher, if he does end up becoming our everyday guy, I'll erase this post, but I just don't think he will be our everyday catcher.
So, you may ask yourself.....if he's not our everyday catcher, what would his job be?
HIS FUCKING JOB, WHICH HE FAILED AT MISERABLY ONCE, WOULD BE TO CATCH TIM WAKEFIELD AND HIS KNUCKLEBALL.
This is all so confusing and makes me feel................like we should have just resigned Kevin Cash for chump change.
To me, too many catchers, resigned, traded away, resigned, losing money for 1 pitcher.
